I Made a Mistake!

Mistakes or errors occur every day in life, but many people don’t have the mental game that allows them to let go of errors and this hurts their chances for success. Errors such as a screw up on a simple task, letting a competitor maneuver themselves to grab a deal that was meant to be yours, or maybe you dropped the ball when asked to do something important for a key person that let them down.

The performance was perfect! Want to know why?

Have you ever had a performance that you just nailed it?

Did you ever wonder how you could lock that in and repeat it again and again?

What do you do when you are in a slump?

Do you feel like it will last forever?

One of my friends is currently in a slump and it’s not to do with her sports. It’s to do with her career performance. She’s an entrepreneur, a mom, an athlete and a great person.I had tea with her last week and listened to the despair in her voice and the hopelessness. I could relate to everything she was saying as I’ve been there. She feels like a complete failure and said to me “I’m a head case unable to even think clearly, so stuck”. Sometimes it can be in your head but it still impacts your mental, emotional, physical and technical abilities. Continue reading
